Under the direct supervision of the Regional Director and the Deputy Regional Director, the job holder performs a variety of administrative support duties serving as the operational, logistical, and senior administrative assistant functions at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services / Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Middle East / North Africa Regional Office, located in the U.S. Mission Muscat. In addition to administrative requirements (such as travel, correspondence, time and attendance, record keeping, etc.). job holder provides direct support to the regional director, the highest-ranking agency official in the country and in the Middle East / North Africa region. The regional director will have significant travel to high level meetings throughout the
Middle
East / North Africa and the U.S. and host high-level visitors from throughout the region and the U.S.
