West Coast Extraction Systems is looking to hire a number of “Light Duty Marine Cleaners”

Post Name:- Light Duty Marine Cleaners

Work location: Departure Bay Terminal

Dates:- March 26 – April 16 and May 23 – June 13

Job Type:- Available full time, 7 days week, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, during the dates mentioned above.

Must be able to perform a full range of janitorial assignments using limited judgement with specific instructions from a Supervisor by well-defined procedures, methods and practices. Capable and have experience with washing and scrubbing of all surfaces. Have knowledge of how to use and maintain portable equipment (such as carpet cleaners, floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, etc.) would be an asset, as well as knowledge of cleaning methods and product use. Must have personal protection equipment (PPE): hard hat, safety glasses and steel toed footwear required.

Valid WHMIS certificate mandatory. A one-time onsite safety orientation will be mandatory prior to working. Must be able to communicate and understand English both verbally and hand written. Wage will depend on knowledge and experience.
