We operate from a number of sites. They are West Gippsland Hospital, Community Health Centres in Warragul, Trafalgar and Rawson, Cooinda Lodge and Andrews House aged care residences, and Warragul Linen Service.

Progression to District Nurse Level 2 upon completion of training and on-call requirements)

An exciting opportunity awaits to join our team providing services in Chronic Disease Management, Wound Care, PAC, HITH, Palliative Care & Infusion Clinic

We have opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join our highly regarded District Nursing team. The District Nurse is an independent practitioner who assists clients to remain in their home during periods of illness or disability, by providing skilled nursing care, education and re-ablement to them and their families to maintain their independence. We have full time or part time positions available, which will be offered on a permanent or fixed term basis. The hours may be offered to one applicant or split amongst multiple applicants.

Our preferred candidate will have:

• Registered Nurse with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Well-developed time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to cover all shifts and work on call.
• Minimum three years experience post registration in acute setting.
