Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Working autonomously to develop and maintain a customer call/visit plan to grow a pipeline of new customers while managing existing ones.
• Identifying and capitalizing on local market opportunities to build sales and profitability for both clients and our business.
• Achieving budgeted sales and distribution targets
• Merchandising and activating promotional plans with customers
• Liaising with management to forecast and plan procurement of new products while eliminating non-moving lines.
• Hiring and training of new sales executives.

Qualifications

• A minimum 3 years experience as a route sales executive with driver’s license (this is essential given that majority of work is in the field).
• FMCG, confectionery; and island sales knowledge & experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to work alone and in a team with a can do attitude.
• Exceptionally strong time management skills and rapid response time to meeting tight deadlines and expected results.
• Effective negotiation skills to reach outcomes that gain all stakeholders.
• Capability to overcome customer’s objections and consistently gain advantage over the competition through superior business proposals and strong persuasive selling skills.
• Strong business financials understanding, analysis and application
• Computer and phone app tech savvy.
