With a focus on providing strategic and operational leadership, including project management, and continuing to build organizational capability with staff, volunteers and supporters, this multifaceted role provides you will the opportunity to foster collaborative relationships with current and future alliance partners. Challenges include leading the organization’s conservation work and scientific endeavor, including collaborating with research partners, and focusing on community awareness and education to visitors. You will also draw on your considerable business experience and track record to drive achievement of Zealander’s long term financial sustainability.
You will be a highly regarded, experienced Chief Executive with exceptional relationship management skills. You will have a track record of leading skilled subject matter experts and have proven abilities in business and / or community enterprise development. Along with your significant organizational leadership experience, you will have a proven ability to work effectively with a board, with mana whenua, academics, volunteers and supporters, and partner organizations. Your commercial acumen will also be strength.
