Engineer, Drafter, Painter, Welder, Helper Immediate Vacancies at Berjaya Dockyard (Sibu) Sdn Bhd

We are an established shipbuilding company. We are currently seeking the suitable candidates to join us for the following positions:

Position 1: QA Engineer

• Minimum 1 year experience in quality control and inspection of shipbuilding works.
• Good understanding in QA / QC matters.
• Mature and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Fresh graduates in mechanical, civil, electrical or marine engineering are encourage to apply.

Position 2: Drafter

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a drafter or a similar role in the Ship Building / Ship Repairing industry.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD software.
• Detailed oriented and good time management skills to work on deadlines.
• Working experience in shipyard is an added advantage.

Position 3: Painter Blaster

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in painting blasting at the shipyard.
• Able to work inside tank and confined space.
• Hardworking and familiar with painting blasting tools and equipment.

Position 4: Welder

• 1-2 years of relevant working welding experience in ship building / repairing industry.
• Performs miscellaneous welding work required during the construction and repair of vessel.
• Those with WQT / WPS qualifications are an added advantage.

Position 5: Helper

• A year of relevant working experience in assisting the mechanic to repair machinery, equipment or any kinds of machines.
• Have basic hands on experience in assisting to replace damaged or worm equipment parts, removes waste material from one machine to another machine, loads and unloads materials / equipment from one area of work to another, grinding works and etc.
• Hardworking with good work attitude.
