DBOS Bank seeking for Manager and System Administrator

DBOS Bank hiring for IT, Banking and System Administrator

DBOS Development Bank of Sarawak Berhad, a development financial institution wholly owned by the Sarawak State Government is inviting candidates to apply for the following positions. Preference will be given to Sarawakians.

Post Name:- Manager, Banking

Key Responsibilities:

  •  This position is responsible for assisting the Head of Banking in all aspects of banking operations.
  •  The scope includes provision of a broad range of management and operations, supervisory, policy and planning, and reporting of the administrative task and functions of the Department which include Credit Analysis & Evaluation, Credit Management, Customer Relationship Management, Building & Optimizing Stakeholder Network, Risk Management & Compliance, and Managing Business Profitability.

Requirement:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  •  At least 6 years of relevant commercial lending experience and proven track record of exceeding performance in developing business in the commercial industry.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel.
  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate well in spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu.

Post Name:- IT Senior System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Troubleshoot software and hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure up-grades, resolve system issues, handle overall maintenance of the entire banking system- related environment: network / server / management of mail / security / operations / support / installation etc.
  •  Handle and support DBOS‘ banking system application.

Requirement:-

  •  Bachelor Degree in IT / Computer Science or any relevant field.
  •  At least 5 years of related working experience.
  • Experience in banking system support and operations is an added advantage.
  • Experience in handling VMware, network trouble shooting and knowledge of database is essential.
  • Proficiency in Linux operating system and Window server is a must.
  • Familiar with IT infrastructure setup and implementation.
  • Familiar with the system and software installation.
  • Consistently willing to learn and acquire new technology.
  • Ability to communicate well in spoken and written English, Bahasa Melayu and also possess good analytical skills for better problem solution and ideas.
