We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Worker to join our organization and deliver intensive clinical support services in the Biloela area with outreach in Moura, Theodore and Taroom.

Position Overview:

Your responsibilities will include delivering intensive clinical support services to individuals seeking assistance with substance misuse. Your responsibilities will include operating within the harm minimization framework, recognizing the spectrum of substance use, building professional links with healthcare services and responding to a wide range of psychoactive substances.
Core components of the role will include intake, screening and assessment, treatment planning, brief interventions, counseling using endorsed therapeutic approached, harm reduction education and information, referral to other services, discharge planning and post-treatment support. Counseling may include group and individual sessions
