We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Worker to join our team and deliver culturally appropriate psychosocial interventions in community-based, non-residential settings. With a “no wrong door” policy. J0in us in the beautiful town of Bowen with client opportunities outreaching to Proserpine and Collinsville.

Position Overview:

Your responsibilities will include operating within the harm minimisation framework, recognising the spectrum of substance use, stages of change and responding to a wide range of psychoactive substances. The Clinical Worker will support the needs of clients and their families, ensuring a holistic approach with an understanding of rapidly changing drug use trends.
Core components of the role will include intake, screening and assessment, treatment planning, brief interventions, counseling using endorsed therapeutic approached, harm reduction education and information, referral to other services, discharge planning and post-treatment support. Counseling may include group and individual sessions.
