Post Name: Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a self-motivated person with excellent communication skills to join our busy medical practice.

Skills Required:

• Computer literate, with competent keyboard skills. Knowledge of Medtech Evolution would be an advantage but not essential.
• IT skills or interests would be an advantage.
• Experience working in a team environment
• Warm, welcoming and flexible, with good attention to detail
• Show initiative and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Previous experience as a medical receptionist would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given
• Hours: 40 hours per week, including some evening clinics
• Must be available for weekend (approx. 1 in 6) and rostered Public Holiday clinics

Key Tasks:

• Meeting and greeting patients
• Processing of payments
• Answering telephones
• Booking appointments
• General reception duties
