Overseeing budget & financial planning and analysis, finance operations (Accounts receivable, accounts payable and treasury management), finance control (Balance sheet reconciliation, P & L reconciliation, budgetary control, financial reporting, capital allocations, company rating by agencies, regulatory and CCG (Guidance and support tor timely submission / conduct of regulatory returns, Tax returns, AGM, corporate governance & support to BOD)

Budget & Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Operating Plan and Budgets
  • Long term Strategy
  • MIS Reporting

Finance Operations
Accounts Receivable, accounts Payable and treasury management

Finance Control

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation
  • Profit & Loss Reconciliation
  • Third Party confirmations
  • Physical verification of Fixed Assets
  • Budgetary Control
  • Guardianship of company’s assets

Financial Reporting

  • Annual Audit

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor in Finance/Accounts (Preferably Masters Degree in finance / Accounts)

Experience, Key Strength & Abilities

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Finance
  • Experience in insurance industry is preferred
  • Experience is Big 4 consulting firms is preferred
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving, investigating the cause & effect, anticipate potential issues and proactively finding practical solutions to the problems.

Overseeing IT Strategy, Project Management, Operations Management, Application Management, Infrastructure Management, IT Service Management and implementation of IT security and digital trans formation initiatives

  • IT Policies and Procedures: Define, develop and implement IT Policies and Procedures.
  • IT Strategy: Develop IT Strategy and roadmap aligned with business strategy and objectives.
  • Financial Planning and Budget Management: Prepare annual budgets based on IT strategy aligned with business strategy, business needs and technology requirements. Manage budgets to maximize business value, to maximize return on investment, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and optimize IT operational costs. Monitor utilization of budget to ensure the costs are optimized and within the budget
  • Program and Project Management: Plan, manage and execute roadmap initiatives as programs and projects. Manage and direct and monitor application development and maintenance projects, infrastructure implementation and maintenance projects to ensure accomplishments of goals and objectives as per the IT roadmap. Monitor the utilization of resources to ensure the requirements are met with the capacity needs.
  • Operations Management: Plan, execute and manage operational activities including regular maintenance, monitoring and support.
  • Applications Management Plan and manage new application development and maintenance of existing applications.
  • Infrastructure Management Plan and manage new infrastructure implementations and maintain the existing infrastructure.
  • Service Management Define the service strategy, design the services, implement new services, execute service operations, manage monitor and improve existing services
  • People Management Develop and build technical capabilities through effective training. Work closely with HR to manage performance.
  • Core technology application management Develop and build technical solutions in core insurance applications in all lines of business in insurance (Life Insurance, Medical, Motor and Property & Casualty). Oracle Fusion Suite (Human Capital Management & Finance). API and Digital Platforms (mobile applications Port, Artificial Intelligence Chat Bot, Kiosk)

Education Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science or IT and relevant certifications in IT pertaining to the above-mentioned functions

Experience, Key Strength & Abilities

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in information technology
  • Experience in insurance industry is preferred
  • Hands own experience in IT Application, Technology, Product Management, IT Infrastructure, Information Security, Technology integration projects
  • Hands own experience in core insurance applications in all lines of business in insurance (Life Insurance, Medical insurance, Motor insurance and Property & Casualty insurance), Oracle Fusion Suite (Human Capital Management & Finance), API and Digital Platforms (mobile applications Port, Artificial Intelligence Chat Bot, Kiosk)
  • Knowledge and experience in IT Strategy, Governance, Financial Planning and Budgeting, Program and Project Management, Operations Management Application Management, Infrastructure Management, IT Service Management and People Management
