Post Name: Senior IT Manager

Job Purpose:

The Senior IT Manager will be responsible for managing the IT systems and infrastructure of the company within a FMCG environment.

The incumbent will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems and technology infrastructure, ensuring that the technology supports the business goals, objectives, and operations based on Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies and policies that align with the overall business objectives and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT operations.
• Manage and lead the IT team, ensuring that all staff are working towards achieving set targets and objectives and provide guidance, mentorship, and support where necessary.
• Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks, ensuring that all systems are secure, reliable, and efficient
• Ensure that all IT systems and infrastructure are maintained and updated regularly to ensure optimal performance and reduce the risk of system failure or security breaches.
• Develop and manage the IT budget ensuring that oil expenditures are within the allocated budget, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimization of resources.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring that all service level agreements are met, and negotiate contracts as necessary,
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring that the business can continue to operate in the event of a system failure or other emergency.
• Ensure that all IT systems and infrastructure comply with relevant regulatory and legal requirements, including data protection and cyber security regulations.

Qualifications:

• Desktop and Server Operating Systems
• Workstation (Laptop, Desktop. Mobility devices)
• Server (Physical and Virtual)
•  Active Directory, DM, DHCP
• Mail Servers, Office 366, SharePoint
• General Networking (understanding of routers, switches, wireless)
• A solid work ethic and the desire to learn and develop
• Ability to multi-task, priorities and problem solve
