Pertama Ferroalloys requires Engineering Manager, Finance and Furnace Manager

Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn Bhd. is the first Manganese Ferroalloy plant to be built in Samalaju IndustriaI Park in Bintulu. The plant occupies a total area of 180h.a and is expected to start production in second quarter of 2015. We expect to reach full production capacity of 350.000 tonnes per annum in fourth quarter of 2016. To cope with our business development, we are now inviting high calibre candidates to be part of the pioneer group. We are seeking for suitable candidates to fill in the following posts:

Pertama Ferroalloys seeking for Engineering Manager, Finance and Furnace Manager

Post Name: Senior Engineering Manager (1 Vacancy)
Responsibilities:-

• Manage Maintenance and Engineering Department and control & enforce discipline on the plant
• Control outside contractors and fabrication work according to Pertama’ standards.
• Manage equipment failure and do post mortem investigations.
  Requirements;-

• Master / Bachelor Degree / Professional Qualification in engineering field.
• Highly competent understanding of the safety process and the interfaces between the design and manufacturing and installation.
• At least 10 years working experience in Ferro Silicon, Silico Manganese, and Ferro Manganese Industry.
  Post Name: Senior Systems Manager (1 Vacancy)
  Responsibilities:-

• Technical lead for all system outage and restoration to include notification, post action and post modems.
• Lead the creation evolution of maintenance plan covering firmware, operating system and application updating and patching, data backup and power cycling.

• Assist the company to secure financial support from banks, optimize facilities utilization among banks and maintain good relationship with bankers and other financial partners.
• Improve operation efficiency and internal control by streamlining workflow, and recommend solution to any observes problems.
  Post Name:Planning / IT / ERP

• Provide technical support to installation of application, system software, and database network design.
• Liaise with the IT vendors to ensure service level is maintained.
• Coordinate and manage the entire ERP project lifecycle including management of scope, business requirements, functional and technical specifications, testing, implementation, deployment and phase management.

• Plans and schedule department functions to ensure the prompt delivery of merchandise of the kind and in the amount ordered.
• Responsible for material movement, storage and updating of computer transactions.

• Formulate sales & marketing budget, raw materials procurement plans; monitor execution of raw materials procurement and delivery to the plant, as well as final goods sales and delivery activities to customers.
• Manage sales and disposal of scheduled wastage, and effective Management of the scheduled wastage including its operation cost.
  Requirements:-

• Master / Bachelor Degree / Professional Qualification in Management. IT engineering or finance field.
• At least 7 years working experience in Ferro Silicon, Silico Manganese and Ferro Manganese Industry.
  Post Name:Furnace Manager (2 Vacancies)
  Responsibilities:-

• Maintain operation of the furnaces within SOP’s and limits set by Production Manager and Deputy General Manager.
• Lead the shift team to complete the production targets with high quality and efficiency optimize productivity and achieve other KPIs.
• Monitors and controls established procedures, methods and quality standards in glass smelting and refining and ingredients used in batches.
  Requirements;-

• Master / Bachelor Degree / Professional Qualification in technical field.
• At least 5 years working experience in Ferro Silicon, Silico Manganese, and Ferro Manganese Industry.
  Post Name: Business Improvement Manager (1 Vacancy)
  Responsibilities:

• Working with the Departmental Manager deliver on the strategic business improvement plan in line with corporate and service priorities focussing on delivering efficiencies and improved service
• Provide excellent leadership direction and effective management of the team’s/ project team’s resources, ensuring professional standards and best practice act as key drivers within a culture of continuous service improvement, value for money and safer practice.
• Provide clear, visible and professional management to support a high performance culture that drives continual improvement, efficiency savings and high levels of user satisfaction.
  Requirements:-

• Master / Bachelor Degree / Professional Qualification in project / programme management desirable and / or equivalent experience and training in a related business environment.
• Ability to lead on major project with a track record of delivery to time and to budget, highly competency in project managing.
• At least 7 years working experience in Ferro Silicon, Silico Manganese, and Ferro Manganese Industry.
