Post Name: Graduate System Analyst

The Graduate System Analyst will be responsible for implementing and assisting with the day-to-day operation of the organization’s information systems. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring Vodafone’s technology and information systems are effectively managed and optimized. This includes analyzing system requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and providing solutions to enhance system functionality and security. Additionally, the candidate will assist in risk assessment activities to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze and Develop Backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans for Vodafone IT to deal with Department Emergencies.
• Test and Document Backup, Disaster Recovery Strategies and Vodafone IT Continuity Plans.
• Interpret government regulations and applicable codes to ensure compliance.
• Ensure timely and effective delivery of hardware upgrades, network upgrades, and new configurations.
• Provide Level 2 Support to Helpdesk Team for escalated Issues.
• Document internal Server, Storage, and Networking procedures.
• Implementation and Management of Vodafone Network Monitoring Systems.
• Exploring new Infrastructure technologies to improve department procedures and policies.
• Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for end user ; workstations and servers.
• Maintain inventory of all equipment software, and software licenses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and information Systems or a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of technology processes, risks, infrastructure, and information security
• Knowledge of operating enterprise security controls
• Experience with incident response and handling will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux-based enterprise infrastructure, Virtualization, SQL Database, Active Directory, Disaster recovery and Cloud applications
• Sound knowledge in security assessment methodology and vulnerability management will be an added advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to learn and keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across departments and affiliated organizations
• Excellent problem solving and strong project management skills
